Our experienced installation team aims to complete every project efficiently, professionally and with minimal disruption to your home.
The following terms apply to all installations carried out by Beautiful Bedrooms.
Before Installation
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- The installation area is completely emptied.
- Existing wardrobes or furniture have been removed unless removal has been agreed in writing.
- Floors are clear and accessible.
- Valuable items are removed from the room.
- Adequate parking is available where possible.
- Electrical power is available throughout the installation.
Failure to prepare the room may delay installation and could result in additional charges.
Site Conditions
Many fitted furniture installations involve working around:
- Uneven floors
- Uneven ceilings
- Walls that are not perfectly straight
- Pipework
- Electrical wiring
- Boxing and structural features
Our furniture is manufactured to suit these conditions wherever reasonably possible.
Where unforeseen issues arise after installation has commenced, additional work or materials may be required. Any additional costs will be discussed before proceeding.
Installation Dates
We always aim to install furniture on the agreed date.
However, installation dates are estimates and may occasionally change due to:
- Manufacturing delays
- Supplier delays
- Severe weather
- Illness
- Traffic disruption
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if changes are required.
During Installation
Installation may involve:
- Drilling into walls
- Minor trimming
- Scribing furniture to uneven walls
- Cutting filler panels on site
- Use of power tools
These are standard procedures necessary to achieve a high-quality fitted finish.
Customer Access
Customers should ensure our installers have:
- Safe access to the property
- Access to the installation room
- Access to electricity where required
If no one is available to provide access at the agreed time, additional charges may apply for aborted visits.
Completion
On completion, we recommend that customers inspect the installation with the fitter.
Any concerns should be raised as soon as possible so they can be addressed promptly.
Cleaning
Our installers will make every reasonable effort to leave the work area clean and tidy.
Some fine dust may remain following installation, particularly where on-site trimming has been necessary.
Customers are responsible for any final decorative cleaning unless otherwise agreed.
Existing Décor
Whilst every reasonable care is taken, installation may involve minor contact with:
- Existing paintwork
- Skirting boards
- Coving
- Flooring
- Ceilings
Any pre-existing defects or structural issues are outside our control.
